Yup, same lights and problem I had. The oversees bumper ( as noted on the other thread) is slightly different. These lights are for oversees 6s's and (from what I can see) seem to mount on the actual bumper and the "housing" just acts as a cover to sit in front of the light. The parts are quality parts if we had the right bumper. HK-Plus should be noting in their auctions that thes lights won't work in north america. Think that is a loophole we can use to get our money back?

Wow...thanks guys...you just saved me some money...just came from eBay and did a "hk-plus" search because I was looking at those lights...wonder what the Canadians mentioned earlier were using, 'cause "I are one too"...lol...I know there are some differences between Yank & Canuck 6's...but I'm pretty sure the bumpers are the same.

Thanks again...I owe you all a beer. (Canadian, of course!!!)

Cheers

No problemo! Please learn from my obsession. And I've still got sport bumper fogs that really work, unlike Heronews, and HK Plus on my "back burner to do list"
Oh, by the way........make mines a Corona, no lime!

PS.....Justin, weren't you gettin' married soon?

Its true that they don't click into place plug-n-play style like the heronew fogs do... but the quality of the fogs is quite a lot better IMO. But make no mistake... these fogs are NOT made for our cars. They're made for the JDM and "rest-of-the-world" models.

Fitment is nowhere near perfect... but I'll figure something out. I've had them on for a month now.

BTW, Canadian and US sports bumpers are identical.

Night shot...

BTW... I had the heronew fogs. Bought the first batch. Lenses cracked for the bulb heat... water got it... short circuited one of the fogs. Ended up putting back my stock grill inserts. Those fogs only lasted me a year or so.

OK...anybody seen these?

They're definitely pricey enough that they should be a little better...like that's ever a way to judge...

So then whats the deal with Heronew's fogs? I heard they were on backorder, but do they fit right and work?
