I am expecting them to do so. As to Ivan's setup, I think they just sent him some LED boards and he modified the housings. Right, Ivan?
I have asked for a "turn-key" product, if you will. I am assuming that will have the broadest appeal for consumers.

Here is a redacted copy of the PM exchange:

Kevin,
One week has now passed. Do you have an answer?

Yes, I was working on this offer last week.^_^

I think we have to get what you exactly want in 2 steps:
a. The outer pair of tail shells with LED brake lamps pre-built in can be ready within 1 week. The price will be ___USD totally. (Because we have to pay _____USD to get the plastic shells, made by KOITO, gennue parts for 6)

The shipment will be on your charge (around ___USD )
b. The inner pair of tail shells with LED fog lamps(which you can mod it into brake lamps) pre-built in can be ready with in 2 months because we have to develop the LED boards firstly. The price will be ___USD. (For the same reason, we have to pay ___USD for the shells.)
The shipment will be on your charge (around ____USD )
Industrial products are always expensive in China, thank you for understanding.
Please confirm.
Best regards.
Kevin

Dave, you are correct. The LED board that I have on the inner lights currently were designed for the outer ones initially, and I modified it slightly to fit it into the inner ones. So car-led.com has to re-design the inner ones from scratch so to speak. Also there is a slight modification to the overall mounting of the LED board into the light housing comparing to the ones that I have, and I think this is the overall delay of the products I guess. Car-led.com is currently trying to improve the design to make it much more user-friendly to begin with.

One of the issues I have is that I'm still waiting for an email with some sort of cost estimate. It's been about a week so I'm not feeling too good about doing business with a company that can't respond to a price request.

Has anyone received any type of pricing?

I'm seconding that. Complete, built, and ready to install. I'll pay for that!
Also, LED's for all lights (stops, turns, reverse) would be on the top of my wish list to buy.

Hello Dave, I have to tell you that there is some truble with the LED tails you mentioned in your mail.
Here I can only get the somked shells as it in the picture(We have just modified it to LED):

But what you want is below:

They are different. The LED will not be satisfatorily clear because of the sculpture on the inner side of the transparent shell. I don't like the appearance of it, what's your opinion?
As to shells without sculpture, only chromed ones are available on our side.
Byhere I strongly recommend you to choose a shell without the sculpture, just same as Ivan's car.

What he is saying is what you are calling the "swirls". You can see the swirls better in this pic:

Kevin, I agree, I do not care for the look. Kevin, please e-mail me so we may discuss further.

Help me understand... are your chromes like the ones on our MS6 here in the US?

Also, I haven't had time to look at the attachment you sent... hopefully tonight and I'll reply to the email.

Thanks.
