For the door lights, simply use a flat head screwdriver and pop them right off. Here's a picture from the other thread.
Pull out the old bulbs and replace with the 5-LED bulbs.

For info on the map lights go to this thread. http://forum.mazda6club.com/index.php?showtopic=7530

I thought they just slide right out? I believe when I did it before, you just slide the lens away from the door. Maybe I'm wrong?

I didn't try it that way, but they really do pop right off with the screw driver.

the light covers on the door slide right off with a little bit of pressure. i did it testing it out to see how easy it was before i ordered LED's. i didnt want to get a damn headache over lighting. again!

They do.. I honestly would rather do it with my hands.. the screwdriver I believe would be more likely to break the prongs...

Just gently push up and pull from the bottom and slide it out straight.. comes right out.. those damn prongs are still going to break eventually.. its inevitable..

They're stock.

And the I do love the 06 cloth. I sat in the dealers 05, and it was like sandpaper compared to the cloth in my 06.
