Took me about 4 hours also..considering it was the first time taking off my bumper...great instructions from here....drilling dust caps...took my time on one side to make sure I didn't mess anything up, and when it worked, took me about 15 minutes to put on the other side and put everything back together. Instructions in the kit are WORTHLESS! Just take the instructions from here..much more thurough.

agreed completely!

except in my case, i took everything apart to find my kit was missing a super important wire... so back on went the bumper! and i tried again 3 days later and it was a breeze! the walkthroughs are lifesavers! ESPECIALLY if one has a laptop to put in the garage whilst working!

Where can you get the xtec kit for $250? The places I've seen so far list them for ~$350. Thanks.

Therpmstore.com is a sponsor that carries the xtec kit for $350 and is the best official source for them.
