Ok so I noticed today A dash sensor on my car right by the front windshield which in most cars is the sensor to automatically turn ur lights on at dark. Since my lights dont automatically come on at dark I am wondering exactly what the sensor might go to? I caught myself searching to see if someone has already posted about this but havnt found anything so if i just over looked it would u link me to it. I can get u a pic of the sensor if u dont know which one i am talkin about but my wife has the car right now so it will be later on tonight before i can.
thanx kroznix

Wouldnt the ambient air temp sensor need to be located outside the car somewhere? I mean i dont know im just asking. Wouldnt the a/c of the car affect its readings othewise. And I know it doesnt tell me the temp inside the car cause i can have it nice and cold and the temp will show like 100 degrees.

That's the sunlight sensor, which in theory allows for the effect of direct sunlight when setting the climate control.

Is the car setup with the sensors even if u dont have auto climate controls? And im not really understanding what the sun has to do with auto climate controls.
