Thumbs down

Like the topic says, but why? And yes, I didn't disconnect the bettary, is it the reason?

There's still a few hours before I go to work, what should I do? Reconnect the battery again?
I don't wanna park the car at my workplace without locking it tomorrow. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Did you try replacing the stock bulb?

After I finished everything, I just jumped into the car and took a video of how the bulbs work. I did feel something goes wrong when I found that the interior lights were not working. Then I turned on the battery, the gauge was on but the center console was like it's dead. I didn't care about it, so I got out of the car, trying to lock it with the remote but no luck. What happens?

Just went out and check it. Still the same. Damn...I might have to lock the car without alarm.'

The funny thing is that the speedo needle was around 20km/h before I turned on the gauge...so weird.

lol. i m lost....

so u changed ur brake light, and things got messed up? i think CLAtenza meant changing back to stock bulbs... have u tried that? did u buy the correct size? not sure if it affects anything if u have the incorrect bulb...

speedo shows 20km/h before u start the car? u sure? and u sure all the doors are closed tightly?

You most likely blew a fuse. I did the same thing when i replaced the interior lights. I heard the pop of the fuse blowing and I knew exactly what I had done. The center console, lights, and security system both stopped working because of it. I replaced the fuse, and the center conole, lights, and security system worked again, however the lights no longer came on when I unarmed the system or opened the door. I had to take it into the dealer and they needed to replace something to do with the security system in the door. It was covered under warranty so it wasn't that big of a deal.

I put a stock bulb back in and it works.

Now I'm heading to my dealer and figure it out. Thanks for your info guys.
