Played around with some paint while I was doing my LED turn signals and HID integrated fogs.

First the paint that was used:

Then the high beams for that JDM look:

Painted the inside sheild for the fog light (note painted side must face out or toward the lens not the bulb):

And this is the cool effect: Does not make the color output blue at all just looks cool when turned off and sitting there:

is the yellow reflector supposed to do anything other than change the color when the light is off? basically, how much does it effect the light output when the highs or even the parks are on? my guess is very little, if any

First...I trim the base of the D2S

Then...cut the base of the projector

Test fit...

Stock where the shield sits...

Move it toward the projector lens...

LOTS OF JB QWICK WELD...

So, as you can see it can be done. I do not recommend it! Just by a set of 4300K off ebay.

Sorry for the bad pics but I guess I have to stop spending money on cheap digi cams and buy a good one. All well you get the idea

it just looks like you needed to pull the items back a little farther. the stuff in the background shows up with clarity.

i would be a little timid to cutting the base of the $150 bulbs. but it looks like you did a great job. innovative, bud. keep up the good work

just use the macro mode on the camera. Should look like a little flower logo.
