okay. Pictures!

It's as yellow as stock is.

I figured they'd look more like this:

Notice the reflection in the bottom of the headlight housing in my pictures and the reflection in the road in the other pictures. It's cleary a white color in the Mazda3 demo picture. I'm believing what dude said earlier about their being a bad batch of these bulbs...

I haven't done that mod.

And having the low beam near it wouldn't make 'that' much of a difference. You might notice a change in shade of the color with the HID near it but that's just a full color difference of yellow.

I didn't say it was a bad batch, mearly mis-packaged, The only difference between the "HID-Match" bulbs and stock is the blue coating on the bulb. It acts like a filter and removes yellow light from the spectrum and that is what causes the beams to look more white. If these were clear bulbs then you got a mis-packaged set of just OEM replacement bulbs. From those pics, that is what happened.

This pic is of the Xtec bulbs in the low beams and the stock fogs, see the color difference between the two?
I have Xtecs in the fogs also now but I need to take a picture of them.

I dunno what to do.

I had H1's come in for my High Beams as well so perhaps I'll try them first and see what they're like.

Just weird.... the fogs should be much whiter.

darminion, please take a picture closer and such if you get a chance. Thanks.

Will do, I'll snap some shots tonight when I get home from work, I have the h3 xtecs in the fogs now so there won't be a comparison to the stock color, I also have super whites in my parking lights so there is no yellow in the headlight housing at all now.

Oh wait, my high beams are still stock so I can use those to compare and I'll get a nice top shot to post.
