well i just ordered hella 7500k hid kit through a local shop

has anyone had any experiance with these?
ive heard hella is a reputable brand, but i haven't been able to find any reviews


it was $400 for the kit with installation, and 1 yr warrenty from the shop

Hella is ok. I personally would go with Xtec (they have a lifetime warranty) for about $350 and install them yourself with some help from forum members

You could do a OEM hid retro for less and out perform in looks and performance.

indeed...HID RETRO IS DA SHYTTTTTTTTT

i just assumed they were good because i remember hearing the name a lot, also he showed me how they look on his car on his car and it was fine

wow, someone needs a spelling lesson.

There is nothing wrong with Hella, but there are other manufacturers out there that offer lifetime warranties. 1 year just doesn't cut it.

u can get all the parts either from hidplanet.com or ebay... but hidplanet is most recommended... and also, please check the pinned topic at the top of the electrical section to know better what a retrofit is...

u can either get the projector and d2s ballast (bosch/al or any) and d2s bulbs, plus wiring harness(opt but rec.)

u'll be looking at ard 400USD installed (urself)

Hella is alright I had their 7k kit on my Integra...but after 1.5 years one bulb started to turn a diff. color than the other one.....

man those 5000k+ hids are scary at night to look at, i was like shocked by another car that had it....im not sure why but i guess its very eye-catching.
