I had just installed the ipod integration kit and my knob for the heater/cooler couldn't move all the way around, so i went in and fixed it but then my center display started acting weird, it would flicker on and off and only a few things are displayed, so i don't know if the circuit is fried or something else. I really don't want to pay over 200 dollars for a new one. so any help would be greatly appreciated.

might just be a grounding issue. If the issue persists ... reverse the install.

Check the connector. Make sure it is connected correctly

I checked all the conections to the display and their in there fine but its still the same. I bought another center display because I thought that was the problem but the same thing is happening to that one too. could it be the circuit behind stereo cover that is connected to the display?? I am planning to buy a stereo cover and see if the display will work correctly.

from reading your first post, i am curious as to how you 'fixed' the knob. give us some insight on that, as that might help us trouble-shoot it a little better.

Good news, fixed the problem. Bought another center radio cover from a fellow member and now the center display works fine. I think the circuit in my old one got fried. thank you all for your responses and help.
