did you install your chip under the dash? why would they trace it all that way....those damn techs are lazy
[/b]
Yeah it's under the dash, But what I am saying is, won't they see the scothclocks connected to the wires of the ECU? just as easy as they could see the box still hooked up to it? Or maybe I am not understanding how this hooks up. It would seem no matter what you do, if they are THAT picky to look there in the first place they will be picky about the fact that you actaully altered something under there by seeing something use to be connected.

Pretty much I would undo the box from the harness, then plug this in to that emply area in the harness the box was once connected too, So the wires from the harness are still connected to the ECU wires via scotchlocks right? just now ther eis this piece on the end instead of the customizer, So if they are going to look under they will still see something connected to the ECU. Just instead of the box on the end it will be this piece that is being sold.

if you switch out the intake, you must take out the box, they are only used together.

so if i get this, would i be able to leave the wiring as it is? Or am I still going to have to undo everything to go with the stock airbox?

You can leave everything as is. This is only jumpering the one wire that was cut, the rest are just tapped to read a signal, therefore nothing is altered.
