I bought the fog lights from motorenergy on ebay along time ago. Got them painted and everything b4 i test fitted them, to find out they didn't fit. I tried to sell them back on ebay but nobody would buy. So I am seeing if anybody has the same ones and modified them to fit US 6. I've read the other post on modifying the other style from hong kong w/out the clips. But mine have the female clips that look like they would match our bumpers, but their slightly off.

Are you sure they're not for a non-sport car?

Trust me, I've done my research on these and they definitely said "fit base bumpers" in the auction I bought them at.

wouldn't "fit base bumpers" mean that they are for the non-sport?

Sounds like the same fogs I bought for my non-sport 6. I bought mine from a seller by the name of "Trendgear" they were advertised for the non-sport bumper, they looked like they would fit, but when you actually got the bumper off the car, the tabs do not line up. I finally got them installed, had to do a little modification on the tabs, but it did not look perfect... one light died after 3 days, and noticed the other light was burning up on the inside. I ended up taking them off and throwing them away.

SO many threads about these shit lights man. Someone needs to sticky this info so no one else gets screwed by these ebay guys.

NON-SPORT - ONLY the OEM factory kit fits, except one type from Hong Kong that fits, but not perfectly. There's a writeup in the electrical section regarding this type.

SPORT - ONLY the hereonew fog lights available in the GB section fit.

I've always felt that thread like this should be a sticky, but I still see threads asking how to do the
brake light mod and it its stickied.

The only thing you can do is buy the set from Heronew in the group buy and put the set you
have in the buy/sell section. Maybe someone who bought the first set with the bad fog lights will
purchase them and replace with better fog lights. Thats what I did with mine and I'm very happy.
Good luck
