Does anyone know if these fog lights will fit the 2005 North American Sport Bumper? I have been searching for a while and have found nothing. I have heard that the fogs from Heronew were of poor quality and found these. If they do fit, the only other problem I have is how to purchase them. Maybe a member from Australia could help the North American guys out and have them shipped to us. Just a thought. Here is the web site: Mazda Australia accessories. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

$401 AUD = $303 USD.

Plus shipping on top.

Kinda steep IMO, even if they do fit (which they look like they might).

IIRC, I don't think they'll fit, since the NA sport bumper is different compared to the rest of the world.

this topic has been discussed for many many times. Use Search. These fogs won't fit our NA sport bumper.

You may consider jinsu-power's fogs.

2004 Mazda 6s ATX. MOD: Eibach Pro Kit, Koni Shocks, Clear Side Markers, Sport lower fogs, Sport Grill, 20% rear tint, 50% front tint, Motegi Gunmetal DP6 18x7.5, Toyo Proxes 4 225/40/18, AEM CAI, Stubby Antenna, Apexcone 5000K H1, Xtec 4000K matched H3 Bulbs

NO IT WOULD NOT WORK. This has been discuss first by me. I was looking into that as well way back. I bought a set and had it sent over to me by my gf (now wife).

There is a thread if you search but I give you the bad news. JDM sport bumper are not the same as our Domestic one.

Basically, our black plastic cover are pushed and install from behind the bumper. The tabs on the cover are female and the male part is on the bumper

While, the JDM one are install from the front. Its tabs are male going into female complement on the bumper.

Plus becase the JDM is are cover the holes from the front, it has a slightly larger part and shape. While the Domestic one are plugging the hole from the back, the part is smaller.

I returned the JDM fogs except for one black cover.

I take a picture of the two side by side if I still have the original Domestic part. I gutted it to do my own CUSTOM bumper fogs and do not have one to compare.

My bad Hiep. I thought they'd fit... and a few months ago I was so close to ordering some from Australia. Glad I didn't.

Anyways... thanks for clearing that up. In the back of my mind I've always wondered if they'd fit or not.

redfire605, the jinsu-power (a.k.a heronew) fogs are probably your only safe bet at the moment: http://forum.mazda6club.com/index.php?showtopic=33867

The bumpers are different because we get a bigger windshield washer fluid tank. I'd rather fill up the washer fluid once a week and have lower fogs. I'm going to retrofit the '06 lower fogs into our bumpers. I just have to wait until Mazda releases a the part number for the lamp holder so Raymond can order me a set. I hope to have everything finished come Febuary.
