Hi guys,

I test fitted my Hella HID kit yesterday. When I turn on for the first time I burn the 10amp fuse. I then changed the fuse to 15amp so the problem stops. I wonder if the problem will occur again. Right now I am using the factory headlight harness plus the wires that came with the kit to light the HID. Do I need relay harness that draws power directly from battery to Hella ballasts? If I don't do that will my HID have a problem in the future? Any help is greatly appreciated

Hhhahahaha I burned like 5 10amp fuses. I changed to 15 amp fuses and I had no more problems with my HIDs.

I think I'll do the same. If it happens again I guess I'll buy one of those relay harness.
