Thumbs up

I just bought a new 6i sport(hatch) 3 week ago looking foward to put HID on it !
I saw lots and lots of kits out there and even with 2 weeks of reseach, still not
sure which one to buy... I saw McCulloch, Prolumen, Xtreme, Xtech(offer here),
Xetronic, HELIOS(on ebay), MTEC, ect, ect.... so now I'm asking for some
experience guy's how now better then me and already did it !

So far Xtec(with DDE) that is offered here seems to be my first choice....

Xtec and McCulloch are the favorites here..

I personally run the 6000k McCulloch and love them!

How would you describe the light output??? White w/ hint of yellow?? White w/ hint of blue??? White w/ hint of purple??

Could you compare it to any other cars on the road???

white with a hint of blue, but very little blue, almost hard to tell there is some....mainly actual white light...ahhhm compared to the bmw 5series, its much whiter, when a bmw 5 is beside me, thier lights look yellow beside mine...if u are in the t.o area, i m sure we can meet up n u can see it for yourself, cuz i know there is nothin like seeing with your own eyes...

also, there is much more actual light on the road, compared to the 5series...even without the fogs turned on...cuz really the fogs dont help that much...in rain they are more noticable...

Im in Orlando so that won't help

I like how white they are... but i wasn't going to do the fogs as well...

But I do get a lot of rain storms down here, u think they are worth it just for that???

ohh if u drive thru a lot of rain ...u have no idea how much u will be thankful u got them...i drove this past weekend to montreal n back thru rain storm...wowow...i can see all the signs, all the reflectors, and the whole road...i mean actually see the road, not just guessing...basically as much light as u have with the normal halogens in the dry, is wht u have durin the rain with the xtec kit, no joke, i m not even exhadurating...my buddy was in front of me this past weekend, and he said that he turned off his lights, in the rain storm, and he was still able to see everyin better then with his low +fogs on his '99 nissan pathfiner...so they are definetly worth wihle...in my opinion, its the best investment in my car so far...i no longer use highbeams at every chance, cuz i can see much better with the lows...when i turn on the highbeams, all i see is the tops of the treees...cuz the rest is already illuminated by the low beam...and yes they are aligned properly...but the low beam hids over power the highbeam halogens

Here's a photo of OEM BMW compared to Xtec 6000k and Xtec 8000k

There's a picture of 4500k and 5000k, which are virtually identical, in this post:

Hope this helps!
