So let me get one thing straight. All the members on here that have aftermarket HIDs....are illegal?

do those that have the HID&#39;s do you guys get pulled over?? i have a set on the way and dont want any problems when driving... this blows, why illegal??

I think if you have purple or fog-light-yellow in your H1&#39;s, yeah you&#39;ll get pulled over. But if you stick with white or subtle blue, you&#39;ll be fine. I&#39;ve had mine over a year, gotten pulled over twice....the headlights were never an issue.

ty, i went with the Xtech 6000k, has a light blueish color not too bad

With so many vehicles now with HIDs as OEM or OPTIONAL equipment I doubt that a traffic cop would know that Mazda6s do not have OEM HIDs so long as the color is not purple. So stick with white or white with a little blue (6000K max) and do the glare mod.
