Hello everyone,

I need some major help with my headlights. My drivers side keeps burning out bulbs after a few months. I was thinking maybe it was the bulbs, but I am on my 4th different set...and today even my LED went out. This is happening mainly on my driver's side. But I also noticed my passenger fog went out today also.

Anyone have any ideas? mainly its an integrated fog light issue, once it was my driver's side low beam, and now also my driver's side parking

Here are the different bulbs I have tried also...

EuroDesignz - Driver's Low Beam and Fog light burnt (a month maybe 2)
Luminics - Both fog lights (about 2 months)
Superbrightleds.com - Parking light Driver's side - (3 months)

I am thinking maybe it's a wiring issue or something, but how could I check that...cause I know if I take it to the dealer, they will blame it on the aftermarket bulbs to get out of work.

Any help would be great! Thanks!

LED is notorious to go bad for the parking lights. Most likely because of the heat.

Regarding the main bulb + fog light, I have no idea. You are probably unlucky in getting a bad batch and they keep burning out on you.

You might want to try PIAA, I have it since 2003 and it's still running.

I noticed the same thing happening to me. When i baught my mazda 6 the front drivers side low beams blew. Then i got the Eurodesign and it blew after a month. I just put new eurodesign in again b/c i got replacements from the warranty. I also noticed when i put blue LED in the drivers side low beams the color isnt real blue like the passangers side, its almost white. I wonder if its a faulty ground??

Eatsomerice,

Did you have to put all you stock bulbs back in to get the dealership to replace the housings? And I don't see how the housings could be the problems, but maybe a wiring issue.

Trinity 6i,

Yes I have checked the wattages, and all the bulbs I have used are 55W.

I think I am gonna try one more pair of luminics in my fogs, if they burn out I am going back to stock fogs, til I save up for HIDs and PIAA Ion Crystals.

I just had my driver's side OSRAM Silverstar burn out today. I've had 'em in there since I got the car over a year ago, but today, POOF! I think this car just isn't good with aftermarket bulbs.

Maybe I'll finally take the HID plunge now that these are shot.

[/quDid anybody install LED bulbs and notice the drivers side giving a white appearance and the passanger side giving blue. I swapped two different sets of blue Eurodezine bulbs and all 4 give a white appearance on the drivers side, then blow???

thnx

I put in lumincs a few months back...The passenger low beam blew and I replaced it...a week later the Drivers side low beam was out....went to replace it and it didnt look blown. So i grabbed the original bulb and sure enough it didnt work. Turned my lights on, plugged the lumincs back in with out it being in the headlamp housing...nothing....went to slde it in the housing and saw it flickering as I was trying to slide it in the headlamp. Has to be a short somewhere in the wiring..never could get it to stay on...Have an appointment for Monday to have it looked at ...along with the auto dim mirror that decides to work about 3 nights a month. I wondder if should put all the stock bulbs back in before it goes to the dealer? anyone know ?

Thanks
