I think you should have a look at this link

http://forum.mazda6club.com/index.ph...T&f=25&t=30443

It has the pictures you need i think...

And Catalyst- that first picture with the purple you got there is mighty familiar???

And I still think trying to bi-xenon a headlight that is does not require it is a waste. You'd be better off converting your fog lights to xenon instead- at least you'd more than 3 hrs a year work out of them.... good luck with it regardless- it will be interesting to see what projectors the installer would try to use as well as how they are going to tackle the lack of mounting depth behind the actual headlight itself.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience. My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right. Nothing is fool proof, fools are too inventive.

By converting my fogs to xenon that won't let me "flash to pass" with xenon which is what I wanted ...

thanks for the link and advice though

I'm with you on that one ejoech. I'd be interested to hear how it goes - particularly what projectors you end up using, since I can probably use the RHD version! Up here in one of the remoter bits of the UK main beam gets a lot of use, but not enough to justify having a separate HID main - bi-xenon would definitely be the way to go!

Long time no news ... I've seen a few rumours/hopeful posts recently about maybe being able to fit e46 bi-xenon projectors in there as the simplest bet with no bracket changes needed - does this make sense? Over here in the UK there's very little HID modding at all at the moment, so I can't find anyone (online, at least) even doing basic e46 xenon kits like HIDPlanet's. So... Any luck yet on finding something that'll fit, ideally without doing irreversible work? Thanks! I wish I had the time/money/resources right now to start experimenting with projects...

E46 projectors will defenitely fit, as our projectors are made by the same company that makes those certain BMW projectors...Bosch. there are a lot of people that are going that route with their HID kits.
