Well I just went and checked and no my 04 does not have this.

The rear seats are different on the 5-door and the Wagon from the Sedan so maybe that's it but if you have a 5-door or Wagon, then the problem wouldn't exist.

Anyway, my 04 Sedan does not have this.

Right, its a Hatch/wagon thing.. might not exist on the sedan. Though I have no idea why it wouldnt..

the sedan doesn't have that because it comes with a valet key.
