Since they are 100% white, I believe that the light output is superior to bulbs with bluish tint. I have this bulb since 2003 and I'm happy with it. I almost never use the high beam at all.

And I disagree with 04char6 regarding PIAA looking like HID. HID got that bluish tint to it. The PIAA that I'm using doesn't have that at all. It doesn't look like HID.
