Replacing stock rear view mirror auto dim, homelink to a auto dim with compass, shorted out two wires from mirror and blew a 15amp IG5 fuse, replaced fuse and engine light is on steady.

Mazda tested and found 15 error codes, the car drives fine except for the engine light.

Mazda reset the codes twice no help!

origninal mirror had 4 wires and new mirror only has two power and ground.

Seems as if power for the stock mirror was tapped into the ingintion system.

Can anyone possible explain how to fix this problem and what has happened to the system. Thanks
