Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but figured it was an electrical question. I was wondering what is the best performance chip to buy to replace the stock one. Also wondering wheres a reliable place to buy it from. If this isn't the right place for this post, please by all means repost where it goes.

If you have a 6s, Unichip is currently the only option.

If you have 6i, you are SOL until CP-E releases it's tunable chip.

Actually they DID have a very short 'group buy' if that's EVEN what you want to call it ... I don't think anyone bought them. It was like $700, and they wouldn't even give us the specs of what it would do ....

And CP-E is coming out with the tunable version for their MAFci sometime soon hopefully, still working on the software. BUT, it's not a 'complete' chip, it's more of a chip for control over your fuel system, A/F ratio and such. Nothing along the lines of timing or what not.

The unichip is available. Just go to the website and order it. It's a special-order item, but they'll make you one.

Not sure when the CP-E one will be released, it's probably not THAT far away, but it's up to the guys at CP-E to decide that. I think the only holdup right now is the software and fixing some little things here and there. Other than that, it works freakin awesome.

Is it worth buying? That depends on what you plan on modding the 6 with. In my opinion, hell yes. Even if we can tune it with the CP-E pipe to get better gains it's worth it in my book.

We really need a chip for these cars. I think this engine would respond very well to added timing. That with a leaner a/f ratio, firmer shifts on the ATX, this car would be set!
