You did use silicone to seal it right?

I have the problem with one of my lights and not the other, however when I opened it I didn't seal either one because I need to get in it again soon, plus it's summer and it rarely rains.

The only thing is probably the seal around the housing, probably?

Hopefully the housing wasn't taken apart to just install HID's. The only necessary modification is drilling a ~1" diameter hole in the dust caps to allow for the longer bulb and wiring (which should come through a grommet). Did you install the grommet correctly? (dumb question, but...)

Ok , i didn;t take apart the headlight for installing the hids. i took the headlamp off , took off the dust cap , drilled the hole in it! put in the grommet! very carefully! sealed the part where the wires come through the grommet! and the new hole where the +\- wires pass too! and that;s it!!!
i mean , i put silicone on the grommet and cables going out of it , since it ripped off a bit when passing the +\- cables!
but do i have to put silicone alsoo on the grommet and to where it contacts the dust cap?!?!? i dont think so ,cuz if so , what;s the grommmets function then ?!?!! right?!?!?!?!?!
thnx!!!!

If you sealed everything up properly then it just sounds like a matter of your grommets not being seated all the way...double check! I know its annoying as hell to see the fog in your lenses..thats my word

Yeahh ,i checked everything like 1000 times man! i am too carefull when working on my car , and very very ifffy about everything! the only thing i can think of , is the grommet irself not sealing quite good , but what i dont wanna doo is putting some silicone all over the grommet and the dust cap , to make a tight seal there , cuz if i wanna take off something, or open there , it's gonna be a pain!!!
dunno what to do!

Man i put a BUNCH of silicone all over the back of my dust caps, it peels off if you ever need to re-do anything. Just load it up, spread it all around the edge and the inside part of the grommet.
