SAS is the Special Air Service. The elite of the elite special forces.

Don't know what they need a fuse for though.

Theres a big difference between real drivers and those who just hold a licence.

SAS fuse controls ABS & SAS unit on Euro & Oz spec. Don't know what SAS means but, as there is no specific fuse listed for airbags, it may be something to do with those.

Safest bet is to leave that one alone.

FYI I got this info from the most basic source, i.e. the handbook.

Theres a big difference between real drivers and those who just hold a licence.

i bought my car used and it didn't have an owner's manual when i got it i'm just waiting for the dealership to order me a new one. That's why i didn't know what this one was. And it was to my understanding i thought i read on a thread somewhere that the 04 model 6i doesn't have abs. correct me if i'm wrong

That sounds sick! A modern sports sedan from 2004 doesn't come with ABS standard?! My god! The Mazda 626 in Europe have had ABS as standard for about 10 years now...

Anyway, a simple test, just find some gravel or dust and slam the brakes!

The '04 6i had ABS as an option. the '05s have ABS standard.

I did say the info was for Oz & UK spec.

To check if you have ABS, turn on ignition and see if the ABS light comes on.

Theres a big difference between real drivers and those who just hold a licence.
