Lightbulb

just put in my 8000k HID kit and had a problem after about a week with the fuse we wired in, we used a 20 amp fuse and it still blew, replaced with a 25 and have been ok for a day so far, and im just wondering what everyone else is using, should i go with a 30?

...also my HIDs, they dont look that blue i dono, il post some pics later

HID kit - thats the site that i got the kit from so i think they are 7500k actually

haha i just went outside and took these

okk they are pretty blue, they look alot blueer on camera than they do in real life

also i dono what you guys are talking about witht he glare from the lowbeam up projector, as you can see there is no glare and i did not perform this mod

No sure about the fuse with your HID kit...did you use a relay and make an actual harness? And the kit is much bluer then my 6000K...looks good!

Hey..... nice going with HID... Ok first of all the higher K you go, the lesser output you will get.... BUT you will still get more output than halogen bulbs... then again, watch out for cops, as the OEM xenon lights nowadays has purple flicker/output instead of blue...

And 1 think i noticed is that, the philips 6000K HID kit, does not produce that much glare as opposed to the 4300K/5300K McCulloch HID kit... prob it&#39;s not bright enough or something.. i m not sure about the 4300K philips HID kit.... but seriously, you will not see any glare by yourself... it&#39;s the oncoming cars that will see those glare....

About the fuse...probably you have to email the guy who sells the HID kit... ask him how big the fuse should you use for the harness...
