so... i'm ready to be called a dumbass for this... but yea...

i ordered me some LEDs for my turn signals 1157 bulbs... and i tried to install them 2day... and the bulb came loose and dropped into the casing... to be specific where the turn signal is at...

any tips on trying to get that led bulb back out? coz' right now, its there, and my right turn signal isn't working the best...

also... are the turn signals wired so both led bulbs have to be in place @ turn signals for them to light up? coz' when i did put the drivers side... it wouldn't light up.

any ideas? any tips?

Hmm first of all, if your bulb went inside the housing, get the whole headlight out, and start shaking it until it comes out...

Then... LED signal bulbs need load equalizers to work.... if you aint got one, then you gotta buy one...

Actually the LEDs will work without equalizers just fine, but they will blink really fast. I have heard of others that have used a glob of glue on the end of a coat hanger wire to carefully fish out a dropped bulb from the housing. You may have bettter luck doing this from one of the other bulb holes. Just be careful to keep the glue away from the headlight lens while fishing for the bulb!

The metal rod idea is a good one... I bought what looks like an extendable screwdriver with a magenet at the end from an autoparts store for a few bucks... has saved my rear many a times when bolts have been dropped in engine bay.

Good luck with that. I did the same with a 4LED bulb for the parking lights like a year ago. Finally got it out when I took apart my housings this weekend to paint and install halos. Had actually forgotten about it, but there it was...haha.

My bet is on the remove-&-shake method.
