I don't think you can tell by that pic. The main lights are the ones farther out and it seems that those are turned off.

No, if you can clearly see a tint to the bulb like you can in the high beam on that picture, then yes you automatically know that it isn't a true HID. migueloo is just saying its not easy to tell from that picture if the bulb has a tint. To me the hi-beam is obviosu, but you can't see the lo-beam.

Yeah....high beam and fogs are fake. Lo-beams you can't tell

Can you even see the color through the projectors? even if they are blue?

Well the High Beam is a probably a piaa or like a piaa. When we did loras car...the one with halos...don't know whos car that is...we switched her PIAA Xtreme Whites from low beams and put in high beams...so they would like like that as well. The Low beam is hidden behind the projector lens so you can't tell on that one but on hers we replaced it with the Prolumens 6000k set. Its not a real necessity to have HIDs in high beams...how often you use them? I live in the city...so maybe 4 times a year...except to flash and blind people that piss me off!

Yeah, quite a bit cheaper. $5 versus about $300-500.

So who's mazda6 was that in the picture. Kind of looked like Loras headlight because she also has the 1157 PIAA bulbs in side marker that make it look blueish next to the High beam like it did in that one.
