I have euros with the stock orange bulbs in for the rear turn signals (ugly!) I would buy the chrome bulbs if it were not for their low visibility. I was considering purchasing bulb paint from a local autozone and spraying the stock orange bulbs. I wonder if the results would be the same as the chrome bulbs? Has anyone tried this?

My friend tried that once.

It will definitely be darker, and the bulb is much more likely to burn out because
of the paint on the glass. The bulb will be hotter.

I would not recommend it.
