I just ordered the h1s from luminics, and i CANT WAIT!!!

I just need some help now...

Anybody know what type of bulb the fog lights on the bottom use (not the ones that are in the same housing as the headlights, but the ones that are on the bottom lip/underbody spoiler area (sport pckg.))--i'm not one for words-- because i'd like to change those too...they'll look yellowish under the luminics.

THANKS

Glad you like them Gray !

Mazda6caliDude, I wasn't aware that the sports package came with lower fogs, what year car do you have, model, etc ? If you actually have the 'sports bumper' that's w/ the sports package, and you've got some OEM fogs that clip down there w/ a harness, you've got a very rare case !

blackmagik, I have an '03 6s w/ luxury and sport pckg.
I'm not sure exactly what the "sport bumper's" difference is other than the lower fogs, but all the lights are stock on the front (head lights, fogs, signals, hi beam). I've only changed the tail/brake lights to LEDs but i haven't touched the front.
I thought it was kinda weird that all the other sixes i saw had fogs on the same housing as the headlights...i've only seen a couple others with fogs that are low.
I think it's kinda nice having fogs that are lower because they light up a nice wide angle and give really good visibility, I dont know how they are for the upper fogs.

Maybe there's someone in the forum who has lower fogs?? It would be nice to change my fogs to go w/ the luminics.

I don't think you have the true sports front then. You got it like that from the dealership, or bought it like that ? B/c I've got a 03' 6s as well, w/ the sports package.

The true sports front bumper doesn't have any fogs that actually fit it OEM. The appearance package (base bumper with lip on it) does have fogs that will fit in it OEM.

Could you get a pic of the front of your car ? Should help out alot.

Blackmagik, I found some pics from a fellow forum member that has the same fogs as i do.

I dont know if the links work..so copy and paste if they don't.

This dude's 6's fogs he bought from the dealer after he got his 6, mine came like the ones in the picture stock. They are the exact same fogs as in my 6. Hopefully this'll help ya help me.

I'm thinking once i find out what type of bulb the fogs use i'm leaning towards getting yellow fogs like those in the IS300 because i heard yellow on fogs give the best visibility.
