Euro tinted tails with Chrome over amber turn bulbs. What do you think?

amber bulbs

chrome over amber bulbs

chrome over bulbs are 7440 stealth auto bulbs from matrix racing.
I have them for my front rear and side lights. Still blink amber, no
more amber showing.

Yeah, they look acceptable. Maybe I'll check out that site. I saw a set in R&S today, for $5, but they are probably crappy.

All the chrome/silver bulbs I've bought are from Sound Domain. The chrome/amber rear blinks are very poor during the day. You can't really "notice" them (peripheral vision) if you were another driver, unless you're actually looking straight at them.

I then bought chrome/red bulbs. The bulbs are very dark in appearence (the bulb casing itself, not the light), so it somewhat makes the inside area resemble the rest of your tailights. No more ugly yellow. Visibility? Much better than chrome/amber. Slight quirk: it's a bit "pinkish" compared to the other taillight bulbs, but it's okay, since it's only used for signaling. (Reminds me of those rice rocket Altezza tails, with their pinkish bulbs). During the day, they look fine since your taillights are off.
