So I have the bulbs in and the doodads are grounded, but how do I get power to the bulbs? The plug on the HID kit doesn't come anywhere close to fitting into the plug for the OEM connector. Thanks in advance. Would be great if I could get a response tonight too!

who nelly... that's a huge bitch.

Sounds drastic.... but you have to cut the wire on both cords.... so that the connectors are off... then strip the wire about half an inch or so.... then crimp them together or solder them. Don't forget to wrap it with electrical tape.

Ummmm... NO.

You do have to cut the plug on the HID kit. You can get the power right from the plug inside the headlight assembly. I am talking about the wire which plugs right into the back of the OEM bulb.

You just have to use one of the scotch-loks that comes with the kit.

I would not cut the OEM harness in case you ever want to return to stock.

I can go take a picture of my install if you need additional info.

Just don't forget to install the positive lead (fused side) from the ballasts to the battery... not a body ground.

Thanks for the help guys, but as some of you already know, I wussed out of the install after I was told I had to cut the OEM headlight connector off. I kept envisioning the HIDs not working and me not having any headlights to drive home with.

But then again, I guess I could just as easily splice the cut wires together if the HIDs didn't work. Bleh. I need someone who has done this before to help. I REAAAAAAAAALLY don't wanna eff up. Anyone in socal willing to help?
