Ok, I swear I've been told over and over that you can only get factory fogs for the bumper if you have the non-sports bumper.....yet here are 3 pictures to question that.

come on. i thought this was old news.

notice those bumpers dont have the amber side marker either, and have the sidemarker on the fender behind the front wheels. Those are non-us spec cars. only the non-us spec front bumpers will hold the fogs. the bumpers only look alike. they are really a good bit different. for one, like i said, no amber sidemarker. On the US bumpers, behind the black grill is just a big hole. on the non-us spec bumpers, there are mounts for fogs.

Well I knew those weren't US spec but I did not know there was a difference in the holes on the bumpers.....weird.

Why does the US always have to be different, why can't they just stick with what works and looks good! I love the fender mounted sidemarkers

Canadian Mazda6s are produced in the same place as US Mazda6s -- so, no, they won't fit yours either.

Not "as if they were factory". Not yet anyways. Some people have fabbed their own brackets and installed their own foglights in the holes down there. And oakfan52 has been working with a company for several months now to create some that look similar to the OEM ones above but actually fit our bumpers. No idea where that projeect stands or if we'll ever see it done.

the other day i had a realization... it could be very easy to get the euro spec side markers on our US built 6. get a nice drill, and a large enough bit, some wire, go to your mazda dealership, and order the sidemarkers for the mazda3. look the same to me! i decided against this tho. takes away the smoothness
