Anyways... the parts guy at my dealer's, when I asked about lower fogs for the sports bumper, said that something was available for the car.
First we went out onto the showroom floor and he took a look at the sport bumper on a 6... then he looked at the non-sports bumper on the 6 parked next to it... and finally he looked at the MPV that had a sports bumper and which came with lower fogs standard.
He told me that the MPV fogs would probably fit, since the holes where the fog would go seemed to be the same size on the MPV and the 6 with sports bumper. But he said also that he was pretty sure that he might have specific fogs made for Mazda6 with sports bumpers. Just in case this guy was confused, I told him that the fogs that he has in stock are most probably for the non-sports bumper which have smaller holes than the sports bumper. He said that he knew that... but was 95% sure that they stocked something specifically for the sports-bumper, and if not, the MPV fogs might be an alternative option.
He went to the back of the parts counter, and came back after 15 mins with a pair of fogs... said that they were specifically intended for my car... Mazda6 with sports bumper.
Wanted a total of CDN $700 plus tax to have them installed...
... that's why I don't have lower fogs yet.
