Thumbs up

I own a '03 6i and it didnt have the capability of using the integrated fog lights when i first purchased it...

...so i purchased the bumper fog lights and installed them into the light switch and all that...however is there a way to be able to turn on the integrated fogs? with the bumper fog lights?

Are you saying you want *both* pairs of fog lights to go on at the same time?

well you have no lights in the "intergrated" fogs so its just a dummy light there so you CANT turn it on

If there's a socket for a bulb in there, I don't see why you can't stick some bulbs in there and run wires to them. I thought that the cars that did not come with integrated lights are just missing the bulbs and the switch on the stalk, but I can't say for sure, mine came with integrated fogs.

if you look at my integrated lights "socket" there are already lenses there so thats why i thought maybe all i need to turn them on was a lil wiring...is that possible? i mean if there isnt any bulbs in them then all i would have to do is put some in and run a wire to connect it with my headlight wire?

I really don't think the lens in there is a projection lens it's just a piece of plastic to fill the hole and still look decent. Every other person with a 6i has said this.

Secondly, you wouldn't want to wire it to your headlight wire unless you plan on never using your bumper fogs. Displaying 6 lights forward of your vehicle while on-road is illegal and you can, and likely will, receive a ticket for it.

ooh...hehe i didnt know it was illegal...well i guess thats ok then....however i still have a question about having my headlights become white'ish what would i need to do besides buying a set of HIDs...i could just replace the headlight low beam bulbs (the projector lens) using a H1 right? is it a bulb in the projector lens?

i dont know too much about projection lens but i do know they look awesome...can someone fill me in on projection lens?
