I just purchased a Valentine 1 and it should be arriving today sometime. I have already done searches on hard wiring radar detectors on both this and the tech sites and I have really only come across the HOW-TO with the moonroof. Which 12V lead should I hook up to if I want to wire it up to the map lights/sunglass holder console for a non-moonroof and non-auto dimming mirror?

Thanks in advance!

Run the wire along the under edge of the headliner down the edge of the right A-pillar and down to your fusebox.. power and ground are both right there.

If you have the airbags in that pillar, you could even run the wire down the left side of it, under the rubber molding crap.. it just folds up and run your wires down from there..

Tap under a accessory / radio / ignition fuse so the unit will turn on and off with the car
