I'm going to purchase a few StreetGlow Neon Accent Tubes for the inside of my 6. I'm unsure exactly what color the LED's are for our stock gauges...Therefore, I'm have trouble deciding whether to go with RED or ORANGE neons. I've got the Delphi Roady XM radio and I believe the orange matches better with the gauges, however, others have said red. What color do you think will go better with our stock gauges?

If anyone already has neons in their car, please let me know what you think.

duh, read the post too quick. Yeah I wanted to get reds inside too. Think red would match interior lights better than orange.

Hi Guys,

Neons is old technology these days .........

Everyone in Australia is using CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluroscent Lighting) for their cars.

CCFL is 50% smaller (length and diameter) and brighter than neons of similar brightness ... thus making them far easier to install in your car. They come with their own seperate inverter, to step-up the cars 12V power.

I have carefully hidden CCFL's in:

300mm Blue CCFL in the boot.
100mm Red CCFL in the glovebox
100mm Red CCFL above the drivers feet
100mm Red CCFL above the front passengers seat

The boot CCFL is wired into the boot light switch.
The glovebox CCFL has been installed with it's own pin switch, to operate when the glovebox is opened.
The interior CCFL's are wired into the ignition switch illumination timer.

I have photo's at:
