mannnnnnn this sucks...i bought new H1 bulbs and was all eager to replace them.... its toooo cold here to do it right now myself if it takes THAT much effort

Took me less than 5 mins to change both my H1's. Remove dust cap, unclip, unplug, plug in, clip in, replace dustcap, repeat on other side, done.

I hear you...just picked up 2 Silverstar H1's for $20cdn and WILL not put them in cause I will FREEZE......brrrr.

Silverstars suck. Mine lasted less than 1 month each in the low beams. Too much work for one month I thought. Go with Piaa's and put the silverstars in the high beams which you use less and are easier to change.

Depends on which Silverstars. I have the Osrams, they work great, I've had 'em like 6 months now. I just ordered another set for the lower fogs. I have the Sylvania Silverstar turn signals which are cool too. I have no experience with Sylvania SS H1's though, but I can say that the Osrams are good.
