What about the 6s in the U.S.? Are there fog light kits for it and installation instructions?

so the projectors on the inside of our headlights for those who don't have the sports package are dummy ones...you need to buy new projectors?

Yes, the fog lenses in the non-sports are cheap plastic. I read on another post here, where a guy put in some aftermarket fogs in that spot and he just smashed out that lens, it wouldn't come out easily.

The part # for the whole unit is above.

KooKoo, I don't think so since the 6s already has the integrated fog lights. I'm not sure why you would want a kit for fogs that are already there.... But if you had damaged the front of your car, a body shop would pull up the diagrams just as I have to see what parts need to be replaced but if a headlamp was that damaged they would buy the whole lamp for the 6s. Mazdastuff.com had these prices for the complete assemblies (fogs are in there too, for the 6s w/ sport package, that's what i figure the "s" is in your 6s)
"The ones with the fog lights built in come with a choice of standard or grey bezel.
GK2C-51-0K0B RIGHT HEADLIGHT WITH FOG LIGHT, STANDARD BEZEL $409.06
GK2C-51-0L0B LEFT HEADLIGHT WITH FOG LIGHT, STANDARD BEZEL $409.06

GM9A-51-0K0 RIGHT HEADLIGHT WITH FOG LIGHT, GREY BEZEL $413.06
GM9A-51-0L0 LEFT HEADLIGHT WITH FOG LIGHT, GREY BEZEL $413.06"

I realize that I have integrated fog lights, I want something in the lower part of the bumper b/c it looks empty and putting another set of fog lights sounds like a great idea if I an get a handle on some kit.
Any idea?

There's about three topics on the lower fogs for the sport package bumper active right now. Say like this one, which you had to pass on the way to this thread:
http://forum.mazda6club.com/index.php?showtopic=28901
I would ask that question in those threads. I know Oakfan52 has been working with companies on that very question. Search Search Search...

We should leave this tread for non-sport owners who want the integrated fogs to work, nothing to do with the lower bumper fogs. OK? Good.

I followed docqoku's instructions with the new control stalk and yellow/green wiring. However, when I connected the two yellow/green wires I did not get a click sound on the main fog relay in the engine fuse box when I turn on the fog light switch. I further check the yellow/green wire in the white connector X-05 with a voltmeter and found out that it has no power vs others such as headlight and parking light. Is there something wrong with the wiring of my 6i or I'm missing some steps?

This cannot be done in the states. The bezel piece in which the projector mounts to is completly different. The actually mod is different. The fog projector is held in place with 4 screws and 2 plastic sliders or tabs on the top and the bottom. These are msiising on the non sport headlamps. I have a headlight w/ fog and one without(alreadey sperated) to figure this out. It will not work unless you change the center bezel pieze where all the lights mount to.

I was able to get my hands on a pair of integrated projector lights and fit into my non-sport 6 (comes with all the screws). I believe it's an aftermarket part that imitated the sport 6 integrated fogs. However I couldn't get it to power on except stealing the power plug from my high beams (then both fogs and low beams turn on when I turn on the low beam because it was grounded with low beam). I tried the method that was talked about but found the yellow/green line has no power at all (when tested with voltmeter) from the white X-05 connector. Just want to verify if it's just my car since ppl mentioned about they actually got it to work.

man, everyone is spending quite a bit of money on these integrated fogs from factory.

if you look here, these projectors fit perfectly with the bracket for the fogs in the head lamps. they even come with a bulb so you don't have to buy one. Bosch mini H3s

atom44wat is right... the stock uses scrws and mounting tabs,... but i only see the bottom tab when i opened my headlight.. but i m guessing u need to get that mounting bracket to get it fit... cz in the picture provided by hidplanet, i dont see any mounting tab, and the last time i took out the fog projector to do color mod, i unscrew the whole projector from the back (openings from the dustcap) and the whole projector came out easily thru that opening...
