Is it possible/legal to change the lights above your rear license plate to..say...blue? I figured they would interfere with the visibility of your license plate but does anyone know the answer?

I believe that blue and red lights are illegal anywhere on a car. That could just be an OH law though.

I think what he meant, and what i also understood was that any blue / red lights that are near eachother, ie: blue reverse lights w/ the red tails or whatnot... so i've heard anyway

Send a message via AIM to erak
Mine are red. Look real hot at night with the red brake lights. I never had a problem, I think the big issue is flashing red, blue or white.

Don't know where you are located, but here is the link to the street legals page on the CHP site. It indicated what you can have and not have on your vehicle.

I have blue led bulbs for my license plate lights. I had them in there for about 3 months and never got pulled over yet. They light up my plate pretty good. BTW they are 194.
