Just a quick question! First off i know that this is stupid and impossible but....
Our car is a drive by wire type acceleration system. Thus it is all electronically controlled. So, according to the dealer if you have HID's, amplifiers or an aftermarket alarm, this will cause Radio Frequencies to interfier with the wiring for the car thus cause the automatic transmission to performe irradically!

Discuss
(Just let me know how stupid this is!)

This makes no sense unless they didn't use proper magnetic shielding, which would be an issue with no mods at all.

:31:

You tell the guy you must have missed the "This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules..." sticker on the car.

Issues due to voltage drop, maybe, certainly not radio frequencies. If that's the case everyone should unplug what ever accessory they have plugged into the cig. lighter, I hear it works better than the TB ground mod!

Thats BS because all manufacturers of electronic devices have to assure that their devices do not interfere with nor disrupt their operation due to exposure to such interference. If this guy was right our cars would crap out every time you got a call on your cell. You could tell he doesnt know what the heck he's talking about the minute he associated the drive by wire system with the tranny. I guess he doesnt realize that there's one tiny thing seperating those two parts, like an engine perhaps.
