No, these are actually the Ka band "Photo Cop" units that some police departments have that read out your speed right on them and could be loaded up with the photo equipment should the govenment ever approve the use of Photocop. I think you are referring to the radar signal that they put in construction zone signs.

Oh, I've never seen the one you are talking about then. The ones I am talking about are the little tow behind deals that they drop off at the construction sites here. It does read out your speed on the display and the numbers turn red if you are going more than 10 over, but they are on the X band here.

I already have something for photo cop units, there is a tag cover you can buy that keeps the camera from taking a pic. Any angle not level with the tag results in a greyed out picture.

Yah, sounds like the same thing we have here, but they run on Ka. Those units can be fitted with the photo equipment to become photo cop units. Photo-Cop is not legal anywhere that I am aware of, so no need to worry about it.

Actually Photo-Cop is in FL. They are all over the place down there. A friend of mine got a ticket in the mail. Also I believe Va has it too, I think I remember hearing about someone getting one in the mail from up there.

I used to live in FL, and when he told me about his ticket, I got the photo cover.
