FOGs on w/o headlamps on??

Hello,

I have a 2003 6s with sports package. I would like to get lower fogs and keep the intergrated ones as well, but have not seen anything OEM that would work (per forum).

One thing I couldn't find stuff about was a way to wire it so that the FOGs could be on without having to turn the low beams on. I had the option to do that on my old 3 series and it was an option I liked to have.

Thanks

If it's easier just wire to the fuse panel. Just make sure that fuse only gets power when the car is on....I.E radio or cig lighter

Would I have control to turn it off and on? I have not done any car mods yet, so would this be a good one to start off w/? Anyone have pics/description of the process?

Thanks!

This is a common mod done to Ford Contours. If I knew the switch schematics, I could probably translate the method to the car.

When these are wired to parking lights, they will always be on, right? Is there any way to continue to have on/off control of fogs w/o having the requirement of the headlamps?

I would like to get fogs in my sports bumper one day as well and it would be nice to have seperate control of both fogs.

Is there any way to do independent wiring or work somehow w/ the steering column wiring to keep the same controls without the restrictions.

Sorry if some of the questions sound stupid as I am new and trying to learn.
