-AC-

Ok... sounds like a dumb question... Number #35 for me probably... anyway, I was thinking about my AC yesterday in the blistering heat:

- i know that using AC takes power from engine and lowers gas mileage

- but when i turn the AC up all the way is it actually turning the AC up OR is the AC a constant and the FAN is just blowing it with more velocity??

- If the AC is a constant then... it wouldn't make a difference in engine power or mileage if i had the AC on full or to the lowest setting right?

It just turns up the speed of the fan. :) I tested the temp of my ac last week and with the fan on low it blows out 39 degrees and with it on high it blows out 45 degrees.
