Mazdaspeed Ground Kit

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...bayphotohosting

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but I haven't seen a post on it yet. I know there has been discussion of grounding kits all the time, but what about Mazdaspeed? Is this worth it? I didn't even know that they had a kit out.

what would they be used for. I mean DUH grounding. But what are you providing better ground to? Is there already one of these on the 6, and this is just a replacement?

MazdaSpeed doesn't have a kit out, this is just someone putting a sticker on a generic ground kit.

That's what I was thinking, but it supposedly says MazdaSpeed on the ground hub. I know anyone can put a name on something and falsify a product....

If this isn't MazdaSpeed then they can get into trouble.

There are a number of "MazdaSpeed" products on Ebay that aren't MazdaSpeed at all. It's apparently not a big enough deal for anyone to do anything about it.

And don't trust that picture. The little MazdaSpeed oil caps that they sell ten-thousand of on Ebay look they they're embossed with a MazdaSpeed emblem as well -- it's actually just a cardboard cut-out that they ship with a blank oil cap. You'll probably find this is exactly the same type of scam.

Did a quick look on Ebay for "MazdaSpeed". Here's a list of some of the MazdaSpeed things they're selling there that are not licensed:

License Plate Frames
Polo Shirts
Ground Wire Kits
Door Sill Plates
Seat Belt Shoulder Pads
Oil Reservoir Catch Tanks

To re-iterate 6s-5door's question, what would this item be used for? How does it help the electrical systyem?

Arguably, it does nothing.

Some people believe, namely those that make the kits, that it reduces electrical resistance, helping your engine work all around better. Some claim HP increases of 3-7hp.
