Remote Door Locks

Today my wife mentioned the the remote door locks on her 6i aren't working the same as they always have been. Previosly, when you pushed the lock button twice, it would lock the doors and then beep the horn and flash the lights. Now, it just locks the doors and we get no beep or lights. I tried our other remote, but got the sam result.

Anyone have an idea on what's up???

i say try the horn. if the horn doesn't sound then blame the horn.

Else, don't touch anything and let the dealer worry?

Open all doors, hood, trunk and moonroof and make sure you really close them after. Try the remote after this. Your problem should be solved!

Brilliant...I did what you said, and just like you said...PROBLEM SOLVED...

Thank you very much,

By the way, was that caused by one of the doors or trunk not being properly shut???

Yup,

Had the same thing happen to me. My trunk wasn't shut completely and since there isn't a "trunk open" indicator light, you can't tell unless you manually test it out.
