Keyless Entry/Security System

I've got a problem...I hope not.

This morning, when I unlocked my car via the keyless entry system, my lights did not flash.

My horn will not honk when I hit it twice either. But my panic button works.

Is there some type of valet setting? I tried holding down the lock/unlock keys at the same time for a few seconds, but nothing happened.

Have any of you had this happen? Is there a quick fix? I hate to take my car back to the dealership.

Thanks!

okay... i put down the split folding back seat today and confirmed that the trunk light do stay on when the trunk is not latched... the switch for the trunk light is part of the latch assembly... so just get a led and tap into the power lead for the trunk light :D

Hmmm good idea! I was thinking you could drill a small hole in the lil oval piece of plastic at the bottom of the center console, where the passenger side airbag light is supposed to be and install it there that way it would be in plain sight. Any other good locations? :)
