Which Fog Light is good?

I was planning to install fog light in my 6, then I went to the mazda dealer asking about the price, they said the parts is 250 and wires is about 110, anyway the total amount include labor is about 520........:sarc

Is that a good deal? How much is your fog light? and where did you get it.......could you post your fog light pics, so that we can compare....
some seggestions thanks!:laugh

I got PIAA P-3000 lights. Combination fog & driving lights. I am very happy with them. I replaced the yellow foglight bulbs with PIAA Super Plasma H3 bulbs and they really light up the road. As for pics, I will try ASAP. Cost was about $600 installed.

520 for stock fog lights is a rip off man. And everyone goes nutty over PIAA but it looks like some other people out there like hella offer the same quality for less money. Shop around first.

I used hella lights then replaced the bulbs with Piaa h3's the lights were $50 and the bulbs were $40 even if you throw on labor it's still under $200. Dealer installs are a rip off. Find a place that does installs and detailing.

I installed Hella Micro DE's in my lower grill but a buddy of mind has the Hella Optilux lights. They are very bright and have angel eyes too when you don't need the lightsb. They look awesome.

The world is my racetrack...

Before I got my 6 last September, I had a 2002 Accord (RIP) with PIAA 1100x Platinum fog lamps. They were *so* white (no amber hues at all) and bright, and really illuminated the road in front of the car... and went on for some distance. With installation, it worked out to about $200. Don't ever go to the dealer. The aftermarket fog lamps out there perform so much better, and dealers will charge you out the wazoo for installation. Obviously, I recommend getting a set of the 1100x PIAA's since I have personal experience using them. Two of my friends installed Hella's, and had pretty good results as well.

Also, while we're on the subject... anyone know where to get a relay switch such as the TCS switch on the dash? I'd like to hook my fog lights up to an OEM-styled switch so that I can keep everything looking as "stock" as possible. If not, does anyone at least know the part number? I guess I could go to the dealer, but I'd rather order something through the internet.
