We did it!!

Well,

It took my husband 6 hours, but he installed lower foglights for me.

THANKS TO ZSILVER6'S "HOW TO" POST!

We basically set it up the same way he did. But no curved aluminum strapping like in his pictures. My fogs have two separate lights in them so half of them turns on with my park lights and the main part comes on with my fogs. He wired them into the stock lights. I didn't want a switch.

Sorry, didn't get any pictures of the "in progress". I will tell you though, it was a pain in the butt. And we probably refit the bumper a good 10 times to make sure the fogs were adjusted just right.

But, it looks so much better, it's not even funny. Here are some pics. Sorry, it was getting dark. The first one is just the parks on, the second is full boar!

Man, I wish you had taken in-progress pics. I'd put mine in tomorrow if I thought I could fabricate a nice bracket like what ZSilver6 did.

The fogs were cheapies. They're called MiiG's. I guess they are a European brand, new to the US.

But, the good thing is they have a lifetime warranty on bulbs and everything. But, if I do start having problems with them, the hard part is done.

So, if I decide to go with Piaa's later on down the road, all we would have to do, is cut the hole to fit the new ones and mount them to the existing brackets. We can just reuse the existing wires.

I bought some Hella Micro DE foglights. I will be putting mine on Friday using ZSilver6's (Zack) pix. We're both in Georgia, so if I have any trouble, I'll give him a call. I can't wait. The 6 looks so much better w/ lower fogs instead of the integrated ones.

The world is my racetrack...

I completely agree with you. The 6 NEEDS lower fogs. I can't stop looking at it since we got them in. HUGE improvement!

Not to mention, you can see EVERYTHING at night.

All my children hard at work. Great to hear youre all having success with your installs. Im loving mine, great for added light and downright bad ass looking now that the 6 is lowered.

Oh nice! Very nice! Love the second pic. Probably lights up the road a bit more which is always good and safe.
