My silverstars headlights both went out

Ok, it's only been like 3 months since i've put silverstars in (bought them from liteswap), and now neither of them are working... its seems kinda odd that both of them went out at the same time. is it possible that they both went out after only a couple months? I thoght they were suposed to last for 1 yr at least! talk about frustrating. if this is the case, i dont think i'll be buying any new xenon lights, unless they're piaa's, cuz my friend has had his for couple of yrs and they are still going strong...

what do u guys think?

yep, i've been driving with my stock's since then. so i know it wasn't the wiring or fuse or anything like that. i haven't had the chance to actually look at the silver stars to see if i can figure out what happened to em... but it's not a happy thing =/

The chance of TWO xenons going out at the same time is zero. There's something else wrong, presumably with the ballasts or something else. Perhaps a fuse? :)

well... add another tally on the boards... i lost my low beams this passed weekend. first the passenger side, then the next nite the driverside. I checked my fuses and they were fine.

Funny thing though... my H3 Fogs are still running and i installed those silverstars at the same time i did the lows.... maybe a bad batch of H1s floating around? :(

well at least you guys got more than a month out of your silvers....

Do the lights have lot numbers? Listing some detailed information about the specific model, lot# and failure could help others claim refunds and alert others to a potential problem with the product.

Keep in mind guys, these are not Xenon (HID) lights, these are halogens.

But yeah sounds like an electrical system problem, if both went out at the same (exact/very close) time.
