Is it legal to have white turn signals? Some people have told me yes, and other no

In Canada, by the rules you're not. But I've seen OEM cars with all white turn lights, figures.

I believe by law they have to blink amber in the front, or amber/red in the rear.

Otherwise you can be pulled over and ticketed...

How much do the cops care? Depends on your area.

You can however buy different colored bumps which blink amber, but appear silver and/or blue.

Just installed the blue silverstar 1157's up front. Very cool. :)

Yep, in the US it has to be Amber-Amber/Red.

In California you can have amber or white front turning signals, according to the police codebook or whatever... I forget the section code.

I mean technically you can do alot of stuff to your car, but as long as your not in the sights of a really bored cop...or getting pulled over for another violation, your most likely not going to get a citation.

Aka unless the cop is bored, pissed off, or tired of the "crowd" his son is hanging out with, they're not going to pull you over cause your light blinked white.

Are you sure about that? I read through the Ontario traffic rules before putting white turns on mine and I don't remember anything explicitly stating they had to be amber. The only thing it does rule out for sure is colours like red, blue, green(?).
Heh, if they were going to pull me over for something, I'd figured it'd be my slightly bluish parking lights. :P
